Clearwater donates a Seafood Prize every year to our Annual Lottery and also to any other fundraisers we may have need of a donation for. The Seafood Prize is a huge hit with many of our ticket buyers and helps us raise a considerable amount of cash along with the other prizes.

Clearwater also plays an important part by covering the cost of the Crystal Palace Meal the Children get to experience while they are in Disney World. The Disney Characters come around for photo Ops and Autographs during the Lunch break and the smiles that this place on the Children’s faces is unmeasurable. Even the Adults get in on the fun as they drift back to their childhood days for a moment.

The Children also get to have a much healthier selection of food because of this donation as well.I am sure it is one of the many highlites throughout the day for the Children that come on our flight.

Subaru has been a Major Sponsor for Our Dreams Take Flight Atlantic Chapter and their support to us has been amazing. With our 4th Lottery Fundraiser underway, the Donation of a 4th Brand New Subaru Vehicle once again has our Ticket sales flying along.

Since Subaru joined us as a Major Sponsor back in 2009, the fundraising has been growing three-fold. This is extremely important to us as the cost of putting on a Dream Flight is also growing, fuel alone cost us $40,000.00 last year for our 17th flight and is sure to rise again this year.

Our total costs range in the $120,000.00- $140,000.00 depending on the fuel costs at the time of flight. The children are outfitted from head to toe, all meals for the whole day, the hotel stay for the outstations, Disney Tickets, and everything else associated in making the most Special Day for the Children possible is covered by Fundraising. The partnership with Subaru and all of our other Corporate Sponsors make this all worth while for without them it would not be possible.

At Dreams Take Flight Atlantic we would like to give Special Praises for The Atlantic Subaru Dealers, also a Special Thanks to Mr. Paynter Atlantic Canada Manager, Steele Auto Group, Halifax Subaru & Capital Subaru of St. John’s, NewfoundLand for all of their support.

The Donation of a car at no cost to our charity has allowed us to take more children each year and provide each child with a day they will never forget and will last them a lifetime.
